The food and farming network meets once each month on the third Wednesday from 10:30am-12pm.
Meetings alternate between two formats:
- Study sessions, where topics of interest are covered in depth and,
- Formal business meetings, where each of the network’s task forces reports on progress towards network goals and objectives.
Meetings typically take place at the Grand Traverse Food Innovation Hub, at 1610 Barlow St, Traverse City, but we occasionally alternate venues as the network respects the full breadth of its ten-county coverage area.
Our annual Food and Farming Summit occurs in the late Winter and usually replaces one of our business meetings.
Meetings are often on hold during summer months to respect the deep seasonal work of our colleagues in the field.
